How do I edit EXIF metadata online?
Step 1
Upload your JPEG or TIFF by dragging it into the upload area or clicking to browse. The file is processed on our servers and deleted after the response.
Step 2
Browse the categories (EXIF General, Date & Time, IPTC & XMP Rights, Camera, GPS) and edit any field. Existing values are pre-filled from ExifTool.
Step 3

When should I edit EXIF instead of stripping it?
Use the editor when you still need the file to carry useful tags: a fixed lens name for a catalog, a copyright line for a client delivery, or city-level GPS instead of a home address. Strip everything only when the destination (a marketplace, a forum, a dating profile) should see pixels and nothing else.
Stock and press workflows almost always want IPTC creator and copyright kept. Privacy sharing almost always wants GPS gone. Those are different jobs, and this page is for field-level edits. The metadata remover is the bulk wipe.
Example: you deliver a wedding gallery and the getting-ready shots carry the GPS of the couple's home. Replace those coordinates with the venue's here. Do not strip the files: you would lose the creator and copyright fields you still need. What EXIF data can you edit?
