How processing works
When you upload a file, it is sent over HTTPS to our servers. We write it to a temporary path, run ExifTool to read or write metadata, return the result, and delete the temporary file immediately. We do not keep a library of your photos and we do not analyze image content beyond what ExifTool needs for the request.
That is why the copy says “processed on our servers, deleted immediately” — not “runs only in the browser.” ExifTool is a server-side tool; a fully offline workflow would mean installing it on your machine.
The tools
EXIF Editor — field-level edits (dates, GPS, copyright). EXIF Reader — inspect tags without changing the file. Remove Metadata — strip EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and C2PA before you share.
